Can you take the waveforms and snap them at certain points? I know in audition 3, you can take the files and drag them to grid, to point, and before or after another file.
Also, what's the best convolution plugin for cubase? I use the Kefir plugin on a pc but for portability reasons, I also have cubase installed on my macbook.
And Finally, how come the Cubase faders only go to 6.02db? How can you raise them? I've looked everywhere...hmm

thanks alot

Ok, with waveforms... yes you can snap them to the grid and any other way you want. This is an extremely basic feature that has been in most DAWs since forever.

As for convolution plug-in... Cubase 5 includes a convolution plug-in that is actually really good.

As for the 6.02dB "limitation"... ask Steinberg. I use Sonalksis FreeG on the track to give me essentially a 2nd level fader before the Cubase channel one.
