Cubase 6 drop in. Noob question haha.

How do I set up cubase 6 so when I'm dropping in a guitar it automatically activates the monitor on the armed track when I hit record?

My old cubase used to do it but on cubase 6 I've had to use two tracks for one rhythm guitar and edit them together.

Go to Preferences -> VST, on "Audio Monitoring" select "Tapemachine Style"
