Hi! I'm having this really strange problem with my Cubase 5. My ASIO time overload pops and crackles, which is quite normal, if you have a ton of tracks and plugs, but the weird thing is that it doesn't do that every time. I mean that sometimes I work with the same project and there are no crackles at all and when I open it up later the same day the problem occurs. It doesn't really make any sense. If the problem occurs, I think it should happen every time. The ASIO meter peaks even when the playback is off. The thing I'm trying to find here is the difference. What am I doing different when the project does not crack and when it does crack? Restarting Cubase doesn't solve this problem.
