so annoying!! i've just wasted the past half hour bouncing this track only to have one or more of the delays change time and ruin the whole file.

this has been a bug in cubase for as long as i can remember but usually i can just hit "tempo track/fixed tempo" twice and it will fix it, but this time it isnt

guess im just gonna have to print the delays, but god, so stupid. anyone have a fix for this?

ps. it seems to only happen when there's tempo changes. making me hate tempo changes even more than i already did.

You mean as in the delay changes and goes along with the tempo track?

The only way I know of to fix that is to do the math and not have the delay sync to the tempo track.

good point, didn't even think of that. ill probably do that for the rest of this record.

but yeah, say the song starts at 125, and i have a delay thats only in the middle of the song, which is at say, 175... sounds like it plays at the original tempo

or there's also times where it's automated so its 1/4 notes at one part of the song and 1/8th notes at another - and it just does 1/4 notes the whole song anyway. really annoying when you spend 6 minutes bouncing the track only to discover your delays are fucked.

no problems with that on nuendo 5... not on cubase 5.5 either..
what version are you running?

5.1, i never bothered with the 5.5 update for reasons that i don't actually remember anymore. maybe i'll install it and see what happens.
