Hi,
I'm just lookin' deeper into the Control Room feature in Cubase5. Everything is quite clear and understandable, just one exception:

"Are there no studio-sends for the inputchannels"???

Setting up headphonemixes for the musicians with the pre-recorded material is simple, but how can I simultaniously send the inputssignals to the headphone (studio) mixes? During the overdubs the musician need to hear both...the recorded basic tracks and their instruments. How can I do that?

Cheers!

You don't monitor at all via the "input channels." You set up a track for that input to record to. Then when you turn on monitoring, it will automatically go the mix which you can monitor via control room. For each headphone send, you can set it to mix.

That is what I normally do for a single headphone mix. Then if each one has individual mixes then you than copy the main mix and then make adjustments from there in the main mix window using the studio sends (the STAR button).

Hard to describe without showing it, but it is pretty simple once you get in there.
