By the way, don't tell me the lyrics have improved since Morningrise
hmmm lets see...

the very first lines of morningrise ("advent"):

"it was all true
a parlour strode, and the night sets forever
i stray in the quiet cold
and you gird me when i dare to listen
elastic meadow, endless arms of sorrow
lips try to form "because"
trying to adapt to the wilderness"

:erk: "elastic meadow"? "endless arms of sorrow"? "adapting to the wilderness"? what the fuck is he, a new born lion?

on the other hand, here aree the lyrics from "bleak" on the blackwater park record:

"devious movements in your eyes
moved me from relief
breath comes out white clouds with your lies
and filters through me
you're close to the final word
you're staring right past me in dismay
a liquid seeps from your chest
and drains me away
mist ripples round your thin white neck
and draws me a line
cold fingers mark this dying wreck
this moment is mine
help me cure you
atone for all you've done
help me leave you
as all the days are gone"

there. finally something one can relate to and something that makes sense.

hope i made it clear.

What I can best relate to about Opeth is "I have lost all trust I had in you". But that could be sung by any band I'm afraid :D

in the midst of all the shitty bands, one day you will admit they are a good band, dunc. ;)
I never said they were a shitty band. I like that last album, and even on the other stuff they are dead good at what they do. The fans are even worse than Anathemas though ;)
