I heard Curran Murphy is filling in on guitar again for the two upcoming shows, is this true?

hmmm......yeah, i wonder why now. They wouldnt let him in teh studio, so he went to Annh., and now he is doin shows with them.

It is odd.
 
Why wouldn't Waters let him do it? Conisidering Jeff Waters filled in for Savatage on their last tour? Sounds only fair to me. Now if we could just get Savatage and Nevermore on stage together again that would be amazing. Hell, I dont know any of their stuff but let Annihilator open. They seem like cool guys.

And if i were curran, i would tell the guys to kiss my ass. If i was good enough to carry them on stage, and they wouldnt let me in teh studio, i would give them teh fuckin finger, and leave, and if they got smart about it, well, i would smash thier faces, or at least try. I love nevermore, my fav band, but i wouldnt do a show with them under the circumstances with curran.

DOnt take offence to any of the above you know. Its just the way i feel about the way the guys USED curran and then laughed and said "No man, you cant record with us. We will do all the writing, and all the recording, and you just go home, and wait, while your waiting, you could play with your pecker or something, and we will call you if we cant find anyone better than you..OK?" Fuck that shit. And Waters and crew ARE cool, and they DO kick major ass. Waters is AMAZING on the old axe. ANd the vox man, he is different than WD, but he has a big range. Very good stuff.

Well, Waters is no angel for sure but he is a nice guy and great guitarist - no wonder Savatage took him for a European festival tour... :)

I agree with you 100% regarding Curran. I have heard even worse things about how they treated him but even this you mentioned would be enough for me to say "f*ck off"...

Im sure some fans/members are gonna be pissed with the way we feel, but i really dont care.

Glad you too can be a huge fan of nevermore and still see their bad sides.

Well, thanks for your nice words, the fact is that I am trying to be open-minded and see both sides of the coins. It really does help - but who am I telling that? You seem to know that by yourself... :)
 
yeah, ppl will talk. They always do.

I try to see both sides, I hate to say it, but im on currans side here. He got trashed out IMO.

Well, some of them have already known what I think about this when they basically kicked him out.

Yeah, true. But I still would want to know his reasons for doing this. I don't understand it.
 
we treated Curran so terrible...I can't understand why he would play with us again...gosh all I want to do is treat him terrible again....it's my life goal to treat him bad...WOW he's gonna play with us again????!!!!! oh my god!!! maybe.....and I mean maybe....could it possibly be that he wasn't treated so bad?????

Ok, since you stopped in and posted on this. WHy dont you tell us WHY Curran cant be in your band full time? Do you guys want someone else? Or do you want anyone at all? Or do you just want road help? WHat is the situation here?

ANd just for the record, you can treat someone real good, and still drop them on their ass.

ITs like a friend of mine, he ripped me off on some POT, he is still my friend, but i dont fool with him in regards to WEED anymore. Get it?

Please, for ONCE in the life of the NEVERFORUM, tell us SOMETHING here. Assumptions is all we have.


ANd just so you know, i dont give a fuck who you guys pick as a guitar player, as long as he/she dont fuck the sound up. SO its not like im a big Curran fan. I just dont get it.
 
Your reply, ledmag, wasn't provoking enough, such as was Neverlady's repeating that they actually did treat him badly... Although I wouldn't know.... I didn't like him that much.... Hoho.
