Kvarforth is a pathetic, insufferable tool, but the music on the last albums are goddamn awesome. That said, i don't think i will ever spend money on a shining cd, or watch them perform live.

Shining's music IS awesome, no fucking doubt about it.

Yup, and that is why the words: ''moron and poser'' are so fitting. Anyway, i don't care about his lyrics or ideology, what keeps me attracted to them is the perfectly dark music that they play.

Yeah, but his poseurism goes far beyond the usual viking/goth/black metal stuff, he pretty much acts like an asshat in every way possible, and that is not the case with Cradle or Immortal.

Guessing it's 'cause of all the BM musicians involved with the band. To me they just sound like a more light european melo version of Testament

Because of the musical sensibilities and the overwhelming negativity. I like it in the same twisted, masochistic way I like psychological/horror flicks. However, that negative stimulation isn't healthy, especially when it comes to suicidal black metal. On that account, I think it is best moving on to something more positive.
