Hey,

I am starting to hunt for a new rig to replace my aging ADA MP-2 rig. Any thoughts on current offerings of tube amps(not modeling stuff) that offers numerous presets?

I have been looking at some of the Engl stuff (SE and MIDI Pre's), H&K (Swichblade/Coreblade), and the Laney TT stuff.

Any thoughts on sound, versatility, reliability and manufacture service in the US?

Thanks

I should of mentioned I was looking for something besides a Marshal or Mesa. X99's sound great but they have not been made in years and I think they made less that a thousand of them.

I should have also mentioned I am looking for current products as replace-ability is a concern.

Any other thoughts?

Man, if the Triaxis and JMP-1 are out, the ENGL MIDI is the only one I can think of - personally though, if I needed more than 4 different sounds per gig (which is of course what you'd have buying a 4-channel amp or preamp and just controlling channel-changes with MIDI), I'd get an Axe-FX and be done with it...

switchblade and coreblade... I think you can nail any tone with those!!!

There is a switchblade in stock at my local H&K retailer.. I'll go try it asap!
