ok im in the process of selling my axe fx ultra and getting real tube amps/preamps for recording. i have 2 ada mp1 (ones modded to sound like mesa stuff), a 5150ii, and going to buy an older laney vh100r once this guy gives me the rest of the money for the axe fx. i also have guitar rig 3 just for the hell of it.
anyway im using redwirez cab impulses with the 2 ada mp1s and i love them. but im wanting to do this with the 2 heads. Before i do i need to know what to do in order to not blow anything. i know i need a load box but i need somthing that wont color the sound when i plug directly in to the interface. i was thinking about just getting a thd hotplate?
any suggestions are welcome. thanks in advance.
