Since many of the drinking horns available online are over-priced and I didn't like the designs, I started making my own, and must say I'm very pleased with the results. If you'd like a customized one, information is below:
Following are some examples of my horns, however these are not for sale because I do work on a custom basis. The horns are cleaned and sterilized first in diluted bleach, then diluted vinegar. Finally, they are cured with stout. I've found that using this method they are sterile, don't smell, and you don't have to worry about the wax melting out in the sun. The grips shown are real leather, and the horns are carved before ink is applied. Sizes are medium (about 14 oz) and large (about 23-27 oz)
Pricing: $40 basic package- includes cured horn, carving of medium difficulty (ie the Ravens), leather grip DOES NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING
Add a shoulder strap for $7
