i own a mexican made american strat, it is pretty good imo but not a good metal guitar, but it can be done. imo strats are really playable, well everyone i picked up, but i grew up on one so...

i read an article last year about fender, 90% of the workers at the corona, ca factory that pumps out all the american strats are mexican...

according to the article the only real difference between a mexican strat and an american strat is where they are assembled and pickups, they say materials are of the same quality..

Yeah I suppose that makes sense. My dad has a Mexican made Tele which plays phenomenoly well, much better than some American series, or even American delux series guitars.
