Custom metronome sound won't render out in Reaper

Hey guys,

I'm going to start tracking a band shortly, and their drummer wants the scratch track along with a custom click track I made for them to practice with before. The problem is when I go to render them in reaper, the metronome isn't included in the rendered track. I know I used to be able to do this in Reaper. It seems to have changed when I updated. When I go to insert > Click Source, I just get the generic Reaper metronome sound again. Thoughts?

glue the insterted click source with your custom click sound selected.

right click the click audio and select source properties and you will see all the normal features of the metronome and can change it there.
