Customizing and Personalizing totally up to you. Way back in the 80's I had a BC Rich Warlock. Me and my friends got pretty torn up one night (it was the 80's after all) and decided to customize that bass. We took the finish off all of the way to the wood. Then I put pictures of porn stars all over it. And re-finished it. I got $600 for a bass I think I paid $200 for. lol.
I guess what I saying is be creative. The sky is the limit. Once you get it finished be sure to post a pic.
well buy a cheap one and upgrade it with everything possible,then make it look cheap(stickers,writting,chip paint,writing with tape) but then when u play it it will sound good......idk this guy i know did that and it seems to go well with the look and sound of his band...
