Cymbals for Recording Metal

Not trying to jump on the bandwagon here but Zildjian A Customs all the way.

I've played A Customs for almost 10 years, and recorded with them for 5 and they work well in almost every genre i've recorded them in. They are extremely versatile, and sound fantastic.

And I would stick with a traditional 14" hat, you really cant go wrong there.

I never got the Wuhan thing either, they sounded like I got what I paid for. Cheap.

Definitely A Customs/K Customs from Zildjian, I'm using a K/Z Custom hihat combination and that thing just slays. Digging the Byzance and Soundcaster series from Meinl as well
