It took me like four months to get it, but it was worth it. Ever since I got this album last summer, I have listened to it in heavy rotation.

Yeah, never really got into hardcore. Was always into thrash, prog, and death.

I was listening all day to the album again today. Was wondering what people thought of them when it first came out because it's not so easily classified and perhaps goes more in the jazz area than metal. I noticed so many prog and death bands cite them as an influence, but I'm wondering if these guys weren't really taken too seriously when they first came out.

And Sean Reinart is a god on those drums.

i dont know off the top of my head...there was this death/cynic/atheist threesome thing going on around 1990.

Focus lead me back into Death's Human, with Paul and Sean from Cynic playing. Damn, is that a great album. Too bad those guys didn't continue with Chuck, but then there's The Sound of Perseverence with the no-name players turning out to be some of the top guys anywhere.

Gotta love death-jazz.

That's another good one. FOr some reason, I see a lot of Coroner on Symbolic and Individual THought Patterns. Chuck really was a great guitarist and put together some great lineups.
