Discharge, The Varukers, Disclose, Anti Cemix, Crucifix, Final Conflict, etc.

And there's also that resurgence going on in Sweden with bands like Skitsystem, Disfear, and Wolfbrigade that put out some killer stuff.

Any other fans of this style?

Discharge - Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing
The Varukers - Protest and Survive
Disfear - Misanthropic Generation

Check those out those for starters. Should give you a good feel for the genre.

Recently started to get back into this genre again. A relatively new band to check out is Nuclear Death Terror. Also worth looking into is Dodsdomd, Martyrdod and War Ripper who does a nice job of mixing crust with black metal. You can't forget Amebix either, very important band for this style.

Yeah, Nuclear Death Terror rule. I just recently discovered them as well.

I wouldn't really call Amebix d-beat, though. They're more of a straight-up crust punk band.

What exactly is D-Beat? And Shoegaze, I always wondered what that was.
