Hello,
I'm going about making some DI bass tracks, but I was wondering which would be the best way around it. I own an API 3124, sansamp, & radial active DI box. Should I run the Radial into the API or just run into the API, same goes for the Sansamp?

You can split the signal with the Radial to have one track DI and one track Sansamp, both through the API.

Plug the bass in the Radial input and run the output into the API for the di track and the "Through" output into Sansamp and then into API for the Sansamp track.

the sansamp itself is a preamp, so that can just go straight into your converters/line input.

Bass > Sansamp > converters
Bass > DI > API > converters

at the same time

Sounds great thanks. This bass player is really great, but he has a very odd sound. I'm from the school of capturing the essence of the bands sound so ill post samples later on this post of his sound.

The sansamp may have a DI out but it noticeably degrades the DI. I would reamp with the sansamp later if thats the sound you are looking to supplement the DI with.
