Nice, thanks. By the way, for everyone d/l-ing this, Doing "Save link as" directly from this page won't work in Firefox...you have to left-click to open it via the inbuilt QuickTime thing and then put "save it from source" (if you have QT pro).
 
d6 has tighter low end, and more modern sound. I like the scooped mids.
The d112 is warmer sounding and has less click in it, but still it's a great mic for some music geners. :)

But now I'm happy that I bought d6 :)
 
See I mostly do Rock/Metal so that's why I had such a sour attitude at the difference. It was really just amazing to me how different these mics are.

I'm still keeping both though :).

Oh and I forgot to say that these are not processed (although I'm sure you could figure that out :lol:)
 
The D6 sound in this case seems so much more suited to most styles of music. The D112 is like hitting a wet blanket in this instance. Can be useful, for sure, but it needs a lot more fiddling around with than the D6.
