Dammit Distortion. Which one of these clips sounds the best to you?

I found Mellow HiGain to be the nearest to the black album tone when messing around with it myself, but here I'd say Neutral HiGain sounds best for the mix.

I was reading about this plug yesterday from that other thread, and downloaded. I just haven't tried it yet. Now I HAVE to after hearing this.

Yeah but it's meant to emulate metallica's tone pretty closely, so it's more for uh, a "specalist" purpose, rather than just sounding good in general.
