Damn...I'm going to see the Big 4...

bTW, I read there is going to be a blu-ray of this coming out supposedly.

No way should it be EXODUS.
WAY too inconsistent of a band, and that was even long before Rob Dukes came on board.
One thrash classic does not make for legendary status.

I love Testament, but I think the nod should go to Overkill.
How can you top them in terms of consistency and integrity?

Whatever......No band mentioned yet holds a candle to Kreator, Destruction, or Sodom anyhow.
Let's face it....when it comes to thrash, the Germans are tough to beat.

I wouldn't mind Overkill either, especially after their last album. They have a lot more integrity it seems than most of these thrash bands.

I like Kreator but have never listened to anything by Destruction or Sodom. Where's a place to start?

I must give my opinion. The big 4 should be:

Metallica
Megadeth
Slayer
Kreator

Yeah, though the BIG FOUR was always a US THRASH thing......

No two people will ever agree on this sort of thing anyhow.

As I said, WAY too much inconsistency in most band's careers to even warrant being on such a list anyhow.
