damnation tour

i'm sure this has already been asked and answered, but i'm too lazy to look up old threads... anyway, what is the damnation tour going to be like? just play new stuff, any heavy/old stuff, etc.? could someone elaborate, thanks in advance.

Considering there is no Damnation tour for several months, I don't see how anyone on this board would have a song list.

Yes it is way early to try and estimate what the setlist is going to be comprised of. Past Opeth and especially these last two albums are good chemistry for possible suprise at any one of these shows for the Damnation tour. I've seen Opeth twice at the JaXx in Springfield VA and absolutely enjoyed both experiences, granted the amplification from alchohol and natural resources...if ya know what I mean. I would thoroughly enjoy the element of surprise over the "spoiler" definitely. I saw on their site that they are playing the Nova. The venue is in fact called the Norva anf I saw Mudvayne there a couple of weeks ago. That place is awesome. They have a bar on the second floor. I say get there a little early and get a couple of beers, then grab a spot on the rail. Awesome. Unless the floor is more your taste. Fuck it. Mudvayne sold out and it would be interesting to see how packed it gets when Opeth plays there. Anyway..........

I spoke to Martin Lopez, he told me it was goin to be Damnation stuff and (all) the other mellow stuff. Think Credence, Harvest, Benighted..

I hope they're gonne play Face of Melinda!!!!
