Ultravox? A band I never heard of, and all of a sudden power metal bands are covering their songs.

The song Hymn on Vain Glory Opera is an Ultravox song as well. Since that and Freedom Calls version came out around the same time I thought they were gonna get around as the premier 80s poppy synth band to be covered by Power Metal bands.
Them and Abba.
As for "Hymn", Edguy's version has so much more soul than the Lunatica version. I can't believe they even did it after Edguy did it.
With "Dancing With Tears in My Eyes", it's interesting to hear both a prog version and a power metal version. Hard to say who did it better. Dreamscape really made it their own, as I had no idea it was a cover until I heard Freedom Call do it.

The next synth band metal bands cover should be Human League. I'd pay good money to hear Edguy cover "Dont' You Want Me Baby".
