i just think he's got a niche in the college boys 25 and under. definately appeals to the ipod generation.

and the nobodys he tours with suck worse than him. maybe that was the plan.

running around on stage prattling on and on with his stale observations annoy me. we've seen this before. george carlin was doing this when dane cook was just a gleam in his fathers eye.

whoa whoa whoa, dont compare carlin to cook, Carlin pretty much pioneered obervational humor, dane cook uses that same style of humor with the presentation of a retard. If you want to compare dane cook to any other comedian it should be larry the cable guy, they both try to dumb down everything so that the jokes are funny to morons and children.

Shpongleds right, he seems like "that guy" that you think is funny as hell at parties when your drunk, but think hes annoying as hell the rest of the time.

The reason he plays with such shitty commedians is so that he seems funnier than he really is.
