The Black Death suggested I make a thread about Danish Metal. So here goes. I'm going to present some up and coming acts, stuff happening now so no Merciful Fate or Artillery here. Might post some old stuff later:

Serpent Saints (with the vocalist from Artillery):


Denial Of God (Long running Black Horror Metal act, I believe they were formed in 1991)


Battery (old school thrash act)


Oath Of Woe (One man epic Doom band in the vein of old Candlemass)


BONE (Thrash/Speed. Both guitarists are also in Serpent Saints, and the drummer is in Denial Of God. Yeah I know, it's a pretty incestuous scene )

Mercyful Diamond (Same line up as SS except for the vocalist, MF and KD cover band. Their live debut was 1 month ago, but they are already confirmed for gigs in France, etc.):

I was going to ask you where should i start with Denial of God ?
Which album should i purchase first ?
But with a quick research on the band, i noticed they only have one full length album !
Is that right ?

Horned Almighty sound really good ! Is Necro Spirituals their best album ?

Kinda funny to see Poulsen in that video ! Honestly i prefer him with Volbeat ..

Horned Almighty: I actually like their earlier stuff better because the sound is dirtier and it has more of that live/demo feel to it. But you'll just have to check out songs from their various releases, on youtube.

Pretty embarrased to have forgotten Saturnus and Black Wreath!

But from Saturnus I'd post a song from the first album, which is by far their best work, IMO.
