Hello everyone. Danny Cavanagh (anathema) here.

In mid september, I will be doing a semi acoustic tour with Sean Jude(Leafblade) as support.

I will be playing many well known Anathema songs and covers, using acoustic and electric guitar, and piano..expect tracks such as fragile dreams and one last goodbye, plus newer songs.

Sean will be playing 100% original material. His style could be described as lyrical, poetic songs with celtic style melodies and song structures.

As I am a member of sean's group, Leafblade, I will join him for a few songs each night. In october, we will record the album 'beyond, beyond' for release through strangelight records.

We will visit Czech republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Here are the dates.

Sun 12.9.2004. Czech Republic Prague Batalion
Tue 14.9.2004. Czech Republic Brno Beseda
Wed 15.9.2004. Hungary Budapest A38
Thu 16.9.2004. Hungary Nyíregyháza KomOmbo
Fri 17.9.2004. Hungary Szeged JATE Klub

door prices:

Hello everyone. Danny Cavanagh (anathema) here.

hi Danny! it was a good surprise to see you at the Summerbreeze... i didn't want to say you hello, you were with some people, but well, next time!

i hope you're going to play closer to mine, these countries are quite far and september is a full month. however the gig at the Graspop was huge, i really enjoyed it.

well take care and have fun!

It dissapoints me that there is so much good shit going on halfway around the world. I wish I could attend.
tell me about it....if I want to see 9 out of my 10 favorite bands I would have to fly to europe, it is really bullshit how devoid america is of good, emotional music with depth, just a bunch of cheesy mainstream crap in the US!
