I'm sure the music will be awesome - Scott, Charlie, and Frank never do any less than stellar music. And Rob's an awesome producer. I'll definatly give it a chance. I think some of the stuff I heard Dan do is subpar - but a lot of that is the songwriting and wierd and generic choices of processing and reverb on his vocals. I'm sure with Rob, Frank, Scott, and Charlie coaching him, and just plain singing over better tunes, I will like him. He'll never be John Bush though, and I'll never like his vocals as much as Bush. But I'll give it a chance.

Most of Metallica's airplay is on AOR and Metal Radio Stations. They hardly get played on top 40.

The good thing about the garbage that Metallica has put out the last 12 years is that whenever my zune's batteries run out and I have to listen to the radio... I can sometimes hear Master of Puppets, One, Battery or Sanitarium on the radio ---- would have never been able to hear those songs in the 80's/early 90's.
