DARK EMPIRE ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY BASSIST FOR LIVE SHOWS
Dark Empire will be joined onstage by Marco Ferreira on bass for the confirmed upcoming live performances scheduled for the month of july in Brooklyn, NY and Houston, TX. Marco is the lead vocalist of the French progressive band Venturia and will be providing backing vocals as well.
Band leader Matt Moliti comments: "I got in touch with Marc through a friend. Since Alonzo didn't work out in the band, I figured we'd ask Marc if he'd be interested in doing it. Being a fan of Distant Tides, he accepted right away."
Marc Ferreira is primarily a vocalist, but also a capable guitarist and bassist. Knowing that, the band has decided to take usage of his vocal skills and provide a four-man vocal onslaught on stage with Matt and Andrew providing death vocals while Marc and Jens will do the cleans.
On the upcoming album, entitled Humanity Dethroned, bass was played and recorded by Matt himself. The band will continue their search for a permanent member after playing Texas Madfest.
