I've been a long time lurker here at UM. I generally come to this site to check out whats going on in the world of metal and like watching peoples discussions. I am posting today to advertise my band, we are a "melodic death metal" band called Dark Vital Flames from Santa Barbara, California. Right now we need your help, we entered scion's/metalinsider's no label contest and we are among the finalists! Help keep melodeth alive guys and toss a vote or two onto that little system there.

Keep in mind, the song entered was the third song we ever made as a band, 3 months into practicing together, and more than 2/3'rds of the band was under 19 years old. Now 15+ songs strong, with much progression (literally, as we've adopted a more progressive technical melodic deth metal approach hahahaha), the music to be recorded is 5 times what we have already made public.
