I've been a long time lurker here at UM. I generally come to this site to check out whats going on in the world of metal and like watching peoples discussions. I am posting today to advertise my band, we are a "melodic death metal" band called Dark Vital Flames from Santa Barbara, California. Right now we need your help, we entered scion's/metalinsider's no label contest and we are among the finalists! thanks for looking, yeah the songs we have recorded is our early material, we're progressing as a band but are keeping a lot of melodic riffs, yes we're basically an american copy of in flames in those songs, but im really surprised u liked the production. i think the production is shit, but hey one positive is better than none

ah well it is pretty impressive for early material, i find most demos to be generally uttur shit, as most bands are still trying to find a sound.
