I have been given the opportunity to arrange a pre-listen of the new Darkwater album at ProgPower. The album will be released in November so here is your chance to be one of the first to hear it from start to finish.

This will take place on
Saturday Oct 2-11.00
The same day Darkwater play. Will be good to hear the new songs before seeing them live.

Where? Well, I'm not sure yet. The top floor in the Castle where we had the friday after party last year would be perfect if it's open and available. Else I will bring my ipod+speakers and we can be outside (if the weather is good).

DARKWATER: NEW ALBUM "WHERE STORIES END" ANNOUNCED!

The Swedish progressive metal band Darkwater will release their new album "Where Stories End" November 12th in Europe through Ulterium Records and November 23rd in North America through Nightmare Records. We got some shows coming up for the fall, and we hope to see many of you on the road during the coming year. Thanks for your patience and support!"

The mixing of the album was handled by Fredrik Nordström and Henrik Udd at Studio Fredman [In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, Hammerfall].

Woah! Awesome! I'll definitely be there. Right after breakfast too :) Steal a few cans of coffee and everyone will have an awesome after-breakfast-waking-up :D

Awesome initiative! And very rewarding for the band to have it in front of a bunch of hungover zombies, with headaches and severe coffee/tea cravings ;)

Mattias, you're brilliant! :worship:

If the weather allows it, we should of course be outside in the curtyard.
If not, may I suggest the big bar, in the section where the reception is not, on the first floor (not ground floor) on the far left end? If I remember right it has a stereo already. And the atmosphere would be just perfect.

I actually meant more "basement at the venue". I know all you guys sleep at the Castle, but I would love to hear the new Darkwater too...

Great Mattias :). So I guess this means less ex-tempore sing alongs on saturday morning, but judging by earlier years, that's a good thing :)

You can regognize the dummies as follows: they're the ones running around the castle, on saturday and sundaymorning, around 11-12 o'clock looking from top floor, to basement, checking all the rooms at the far left and - to be sure - on the right side, searching for a bunch of zombies...

While the not-Dummies are listening to the new Darkwater... somewhere... :headbang:
