DATURA have been breeding extreme melodic metal from the heart of the Kootenay's in British Columbia, Canada, since 2002... Why? For sheer will to re-create traditional Death and Black Metal, Thrash, Progressive Rock and Psychedelia into a fresh sonority. Founding members Evan Arnott(Guitars), Levi Sheppard (Guitars) and Kyle Sheppard (Drums) have always been at the core of the band. After numerous line-up changes on Bass and Vocal duties and a few demo recordings, the band settled on a solid line up while attending music college, meeting Bassist Adam Tschritter and Vocalist Sean Folk.
