I've been waiting for somebody to post on this one and it hasn't happened yet so here goes........ WHAT THE !@#$%?!?!?!?! I should preface this with the fact that I am a huge Priest fan. I love all the old and new. Even that piece of shit Demolition had its moments of greatness. When Rob came out years ago I'll admit to being a bit surprised (though after getting the new dvd and suffering through videos like Hot Rockin' and Headed Out To The Highway I can't see the boys as anything BUT gay. Hell, they make Richard Simmons look like a badass pussy eatin' mofo.) but I stood strong in my love of the Priest. I figured, hell...the music still rocks. Whatever. Have a ball. Or two on your chin. It's your life. But NOW I have really been floored. Dave Holland pulled a Michael Jackson and freakin' molested a young male with special needs. How entirely FUCKED UP is this?!?!? I still love JP but thankfully Scott Travis hasn't touched anyone yet and by all accounts may in fact be hetero. This makes me wonder about Glenn and KK, though. (Now for some reason KK sounds like a really gay name...almost like Chris with a K or something fancy schmancy like that...Kaya or the dreaded Carson...) Are Glenn and KK really collaborating in more ways than one? Oh the agony of it all. I can't bear to think about it. One of metals greatest bands nothing more than a heavy metal VILLAGE PEOPLE?!?!? Will there be a new YMCA dance for "Livin' After Midnight"?

Anyways, Dave deserves worse than whatever he gets outta this and hopefully the Priest will carry on. What do you all think? Have you lost respect for the legacy or does the music still do all the talking? Will it be safe to see Priest on the 2004 tour or will one have to worry if one drops their ticket stub or something like that? CRAZZZZZZZZZZY SHIT here folks.

Is there any question? ANYONE who abuses a child like this deserves more punishment than is humanly possible to think of! I don't think evn hell has a place fitting of these people. If it were up to me, I would make them live the rest of their lives in as much pain as possible, for as long as possible.

As far as the rest of the band, I do hope they make it through, but it will be rough. They will all be scrutinized to the fullest, that is for certain.

Crimes against children are the worst & damaging.
I think that's one crime that gets a similar response by the public.
It's that of anger & disgust. In the line of work that I do I have had to report a couple of incident relating to minors to the authorities. It's the sickest thing...

I agree with all of the replies. I personally can't see why one man would want another man's hairy asshole, but that is their business (in Rob Halford's case as it is consentual.) I don't have any problem with homosexuality as long as I don't have to watch it..... well male on male anyway. Fem on fem is different. >P~
When you are talking about children though, that is a whole different story be it male or female, but especially homosexual pedophilia. That is sick and it will affect a child for the rest of their life and probably change the ir personality and not allow them to be the person they were meant to be. THAT is why it is such a cruel crime. There is no excuse for it. He should be punished adequately for the crime, which would be a long time imprisonment in my opinion,

Damn, this is one of the situations where I always don't know what to do at all. All I can say is that I also wish you well and don't let it get to you. My first girl went through the same experience with her uncle. We've split up years ago but I still can remember the night she told me about it as it was yesterday. Man, that memory has stripped me to the bone and I have never even met that guy! How bad must it be then for the kids affected? And to top it all off her parents didn't even do anything about it when they found out. They just got another babysitter. I mean, who the hell cares whether he is family or not?

Hey JOHNNYD and co...I started this post as kind of a goof on Dave Holland. It really is a sick thing he did. I didn't think about anyone really being affected by it. I kind of feel bad now, so I hope it didn't bring about bad feelings....JD, you are a great American and I wish you only the best. I just didn't want to bum anybody out.

Let's go by the numbers:

1) No, I will not hate old JP albums just because the drummer is a sick fucker and the singer is homosexual.

2) Like was well posted Halford choose his sexuality and is only for him to know, is not our business.

3) Child molestation, child abuse, abuse of defenseless people, rape, family violence etc., are among the most terrible crimes that happen in a "civilized" society. And like many here I do hope that the punishment fit the crime and then some, is one of those cases in which eye for an eye has a well defined sense of justice.

4) Sex (in any possible variant) is a matter for consenting adults. As adults every decision and action that we made will carry a consequence. Dave Holland is an adult and did exactly that a decision/action, now he must face the consequences.

5) Sometimes I have seen people open their past in forums, but what I've read here rendered me speechless. I only can offer a true desire that someday the marks left on your minds and souls dissapear and give you peace.

I can’t deny that this topic is a very emotional one for me but let’s face it, the role I had in this play is the easy one. The people who are really at the tough end are the ones directly affected. Like our JonnyD or my former girlfriend.
As for Holland… Well, I don’t believe in killing. Neither by a single person nor by the state or an army. I consider any life as a gift and being worthwhile to be protected. But I can’t deny that I couldn’t care less if the other prison inmates forced him on all fours and caressed him with a broom-stick twice a day.
