[color=#aoeooa]The problem with Hooksey's death is that now we end up with that whole "hooksey was god" thing because he died young and still at his prime. Over the past few days we've had that whole thing with how great he was/ cut down in the prime of his life. People ringing Sports Today and just praising Hooksey to no end.

The problem with this is that if he was alive well... many of those people wouldn't give two shits about him and suddenly now he's dead so he's something brilliant.

Kinda like that average singer/guitar player.... whats his name.... Cobain or something.

Now I like Hooksey, but the whole "praising Hooksey" thing is too much. But the bouncer should be charged if the whole thing about them being 50m from the pub is true.[/color]

Manly used to be realy bad. I got thrown backwards down some stairs for spilling a drink in manly.

Bouncers in general seem to be getting better though. some of them are even friendly now.
But sometimes they cop a lot of shit, i remember once in Dee Why RSL a group of at least 10 big blokes turned on one bouncer on his own and beat the shit out of him for no reason . 2 guys held his arms back and the others punched him about 20 times in the face
Where ever you get big groups of drunk people there will be violence
