Has anybody noticed about this band.... The last what I have listened about them it was that they where working about a new album... but that was at the beginning of this year.... Damn

I have two of their albums ("...Slaughtersun" & "Haer..."). they're ok if you like the style but not really my cup of tea... But I haven't heard any news from them...

i have slaughtersun. they get rather repetitive. kinda boring after a while. they have long ass songs with only 2 or 3 riffs *yawn*

Two or three riffs??? Ok, well, I'm not one to criticize others opinions... heh... But I'm glad to see a thred dedicated to Dawn.... They're in a tie as my favorite band ever. There songwriting and structuring is unmatched in my opinion. Slaughtersun is an absolute masterpiece.
On another note, I e-mailed Necropolis about the bands status. Asked if they were still together, or gone for good (since it's been four years since a release), the guy e-mailed me back, replying simply: "Not really"..... Two word e-mail.... Sounds grim though, I think they're gone That sucks... My two favorite bands have expired.....

(also also) Alzazamon (drummer of Dark Funeral) joined Dawn just after Slaughtersun... but they never got anything done for us to hear... Any Dawn fans into Choir of Vengeance too? I guess they're deceased as well now though..... ARGH...

I heard that Jocke Petterson (drummer on Slaughtersun) ws suppose to play on the new Bloodbath fulllength because Dan Swano didn't want to play metal anymore. But Dan did the drums after all

maybe its just my perception of the songs. but their riffs seem to go on forever. there is one riff in particular that i can think of. it sorta goes like 22202202333... thats the first part. i'll go put the cd in later and tell ya the song title.
and yes, i shall be blastin the psypheria for a long while to come. they are my favorite band. and good friends
