Dawn, anyone?

has anyone heard Dawn? in particular the album Slaughtersun? I read a little about them somewhere and I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about them. Comments would be much appreciated.

In my opinion just good... But then again I'm not the biggest fan of the swedish scene... They're considered one of the best bands of that style, so if you like it, I think you'll like them.... Their style become boring, at leat for me, after a while, but I know people who love them.... Once again, it depends on your tastes....

You should look for Naer solen gaer niber for evogher (When the sun goes down forever) instead. Melodic Black Metal, in the vein of Dissection.

Never heard Dawn to be honest, but I'll see about obtaining what has been listed here as "good" or "great" or "ruling".

take your typical BM riff and drag it on for ever. thtas dawn. some good riffs, some good ideas. but they drag stuff out for a long time. they get rather boring. atleast in my eyes. i have slaughtersun, i dont listen to it very often

Ya'll are nutz! I love Slaughtersun. The songs are epic, they induce the trancelike state stoned, particularly the first track!

There is also another band named Dawn, brutal death metal. I have an EP from them, quite good.
