Daylight Dies

Anyone like this band? I heard 2 songs and its pretty cool stuff so far. What does anyone else think?

No Reply is a great album. I especially like The Line That Divides, Four Corners, and In The Silence.

As does Rapture (as you mentioned on another post) "Songs for the Withering" kicks my ass about the room, especially the first track!!!

I would recommend Rapture to any fan of Daylight dies

Rapture is every bit as good as DD, and their guitar lines are awesome.

I just got back a little while ago and saw Daylight Dies open for Lacuna Coil in Toronto (just went to see DD of course) and they were fucking stellar!

Daylight Dies are awesome, I saw them earlier this month opening for Katatonia and they were by far the best band of the evening, I can't stop saying how much that gig ruled, one of the best gigs I ever saw, my neck and back were aching for days afterwards...

Rapture is definitely recommendable if you like DD & Katatonia, good band.

Daylight Dies rule. Best USAmerican band atm. together with Agalloch I'd say.

I have written a review of their first EP "Idle", here. Basically, anyone who likes "No Reply" should also get this while they still can.

Agreed. But you forgot to mention the song they dedicated to everyone but you.

From what I have read from this forum and others do you folks think Daylight Dies and Agalloch are the US answer to the greatness of the swedish bands such as Opeth and KATATONIA? What you think?

I saw them live when I didn't know them yet, never before I was so impressed. It was dead dead heavy and they're one of me fave bands right now
