Ok, so I know this isnt studio related, but I've been getting very into livesound recently and have been doing lots of work and being offered lots of gigs. I recently did a show for a big local band and the venue had a dbx Driverack (not sure of the model), and with a reference mic the room was EQ'ed automatically without having to do much at all! It was amazing!
Ive been looking at getting one and was wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with these in the past - and if anyone knows about the different models. Also, how well do you think this could be used as a touring item - I dont imagine it would take too long to set it up at each venue (given the systems aren't too big and to pack it down at the end of the night..
Most systems I work on are only 2 way, with seperate amps for the main FOH speakers and the subs - so I imagine I would be able to get this working fine?

Any opinions on this?

I could have sworn I replied to this yesterday...

Anyone know the main differences between the models? Aside from price of course. I realise that the higher models will have more options for tuning the room and xover points, etc, but, in reality when the setup will only be temporary (as in, just for the night), I dont really imagine I would have time to fine tune it in such depth..
Im heading on the road with Dawn of Azazel and Krisiun in April and wont have been to any of the venues Ill be working in (except one) and Im not willing to buy a ticket to Australia to check them out :P but I do want something I know Ill be able to use to tune up the room nicely as Ive had many bad experiences with horrible sounding rooms!
