I have the Silent Force album and it's OK, but I prefer the work he did on his solo album.

Best singer in the world, even better than the Voice of Rock, Glenn Hughes. He was one of the guys on the shortlist to join Judas Priest after Halford left, and it was his audition tape that got him noticed and landed him the job with Royal Hunt ("Paradox" is brilliant!). Something like that, anyway.
