hi guys, got a set of ddrum pro triggers coming my way soon and had a question for anyone who's used em before before i start rigging up the cables..
while im aware that the kick/tom triggers use XLR-1/4" TS cables, what about the dual zone snare trigger? is the cable (like this one: http://www.zzounds.com/item--DEP6998) just a regular XLR-TRS cable?
i'm not running the triggers into a module, just recording the splats for replacement, and don't really need the rim output of the snare trigger. will the XLR-TRS suffice or would i need a XLR-2 TRS Y cable? (http://drums-percussion.musiciansfr...Y-Cable-for-Snare-and-Other-Brains?sku=331552)
any other tips on getting these to trigger properly would be appreciated too, i remember reading something about felt under the trigger itself? cheers guys
