De-reverbation possible!!!

Recently run over some reviews on Zynaptiq Unveil plugin and my jaw just hit the ground. I thought that is impossible and I was wrong.
I think it would help a lot to get rid of unwanted recording reverb, so thought to pass this to those who haven't heard about it.

Not sure if your thinking of Roland's R-Mix technology (which they have now added as a standard component of Cakewalk Sonar X2 Producer). It's not really for drying up a mix so much as a visual means to separate individual parts of a stereo mix and allowing manipulation of them in isolation. It is built upon VariPhrase in combination with what they call V-Remastering technology.

I love and hate these sort of thing.....

I love it because it can be extremely useful obviously.
I hate it because all the kits will now de-reverb the snare and kick samples they ripped from all those records and rock band moggs and will start to sound even more alike, even less unique and the whole shit process of music production will spiral down yet a bit further

i have a pretty small live room so i end up using SPL transient designer alot to lessen the room sound..works pretty well.

there was also a free VST plugin called Proximity that does this..made for the recent KVR competition i think.
