If you have been hanging around our forums, as we always suggest, you have already found out about this... Anyways: The seed for TPH, the Deadmarch album that was recorded back in 1998 in Sunlight Studios with Tomas Skogsberg, will actually be released in 2007.
I'm awaiting the contract but I have gotten the offer and will sign it as soon as the papers arrive. We will re-master the whole thing with Dan Swanö at Unisound and then release it as it was recorded. This feels very nice since that album is very special to me in alot of ways. It was the thing that eventually made me form TPH.
It's not like we'll make any money off this, and basically I don't fucken care for shit. All I want is that the label gets their money back for mastering and releasing it. I just think it's a nice thing that it gets out, whenever that happens. And the label isn't the same label that TPH's secured a deal with, just to cut off further speculation. Vic Records bought the album and will release it in 2007. A definite releasedate will follow as soon as we have one.
Deadmarch: "The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Initiation of blasphemy" will come with a new cover and booklet made by Statik Majik, the hero who is responsible for everything TPH, graphics wise, as of the latest years. And it looks damn good.
I don't think any year in the past has started off this good before. Great things for TPH happening, Deadmarch being released and Insects getting a new deal as well... Insane.
Thanx for the neverending support, Haters.

yes... that is a good thing...
I actually listened to the Deadmarch album quite a lot when Lord K put it up for download on TPH forum.

kickass!

I just got the mastered version from Dan and he's really done some excellent work with it compared to the original unmastered version. Now it's all up to VIC Records to get the fucken thing out. Everything is finished and sent their way. There's a pic of the cover at Vic's site if anyone's interested in that.

Hi guys. I have obviously been registered to these forums for a few years without me even remembering it, haha... I'll pop in every now and then and see if there's anything I can assist with concerning this Odyssey/Deadmarch crap.

Thanx for the welcome.

mmm house of usher...

Deadmarch is great stuff...kind of disappointing it's not brand new material but I'm glad this oldie will get a proper release
when you are done, your cd will be ours(well mine):loco:

p.s
great to have you here Mr. Kentha

Thanx Paradoxile. Yeah, the album is fucken almost 10 years old and I never thought we would release it or anything. I consider it more to be a bonus thing thanx to VIC Records. I guess this is more of a small treasure to the guys who already have the TPH albums, and there's a chance some of them never heard this album though I decided to hand it out to the ones who were interested in it, you know.

Either way, it feels great that it comes out, this means that everything we ever did as TPH (though this was but the seed to it) is available on CD's now (since the demo is on the live album).

And great to see someone remembering House Of Usher.

yeah I haven't been there for over a year...
just read the latest updates
a treat indeed...christloving ballads for all and possibly even this year...YAY!
