Cause I think to most people it means something along the lines of "making a post or comment designed to elicit a specific and expected reaction (usually one of negativity)." Most troll posts are simply there to anger the regular users of a board, not amuse them.

I wasn't actually trolling. That is how I feel. I wanted to spark discussion that was relevant. Of course, an Opeth-dork would tend to think I was trying to piss them off b/c obviously not <3ing the band is intentional act.
