Its hard to say who's the best anyways... we all have different taste and opinions
in the matter... but Death, legends as they may be, are far from being the "no.1" in the scene...

meh... my opinion is that we cannot say which band is the best until we know all the friggin' bands on earth. It's like magazines saying kirk hammet is the best guitarist of all time... yeah, these guys obviously don't know a lot of guitarists.

If you listen to all the death recordings and follow the progression, just imagine what he would be producing now. World domination! Death do indeed OWN. I wouldn't say they are in my list of favourite bands but they are pretty incredible. They were hugely influential, but I think you've gotta look at a band for their merits, not through the goggles of fan-boy-dom.

only heard the first track... and it's also the first akercocke (funny name) track I ever heard. Pretty cool, but I don't know if it's good enough for me to buy it.
