Hi guys! I'm struggling with the guitar sound. The guitar tracks have a lot of mud (huge lowend) and when I use a multiband compressor I need to reduce a lot in this area for the mix to sound as open as I want to. After that guitars start to sound harsh in most cases. This is my best attempt and have to admit I'm lost. What do you think of this sound? Any tips?
Apart from that, I'm aware that the overall sound now is far from perfect. I still need to automate and edit some fragments. The bass guitar is going to be rerecorded.

The guitars aren't that bad, I would low pass them a bit more and would look at the 3000hz area.
The guitars aren't really clear(or maybe need more volume) in the blast beat part at 0:23

The snare needs a little reverb, not much.

To me it sounds like there is some kind of "pumping effect" at 23---> and 44--->.....?

I........I don't hear any difference....?! Tried with headphones too. So what did you do to that?
