hi,
im working on my one man band first EP.
i have a shitty guitar sound, with a lot of fizz, and mudiness.
any one can help me to improve this sound? eq? multiband compression ? or other suggestions
i used a 6505 with marshall 1936 Cab (2x12 with celestion gt-75)
and LTD MH400 (emg81/85) guitar
L100 Guitar 1 sm57 , L80 Guitar 1 MD421,
R100 Guitar 2 sm57, R80 Guitar 2 MD421
here is the sample of guitars:

how can i get a thick guitar sound? What is the problem with this guitar sound?

That's raw, no eq? For starters you should try out a Low Pass Filter and move it around a bit to get rid of some fizz, start around 12kHz. Maybe pull back on the presence and get the resonance up more. You definitely need more bass in the guitars.

infortunately i have only one guitar DI track

it is dual tracked. which frequencies should i turn up on guitar? and which to remove?

bring up the low and resonance knobs on the amp and decrease the presence knob as well. Re-record and place a low pass filter around 12kHz-ish.

yeah i will try to re record guitars with a DI tracks

the 6505 setup was :
first guitar :
rythm channel
pre gain : 8 bass 6, mid 4, high 7
resonance 7, presence 6
with a ts9 : drive 12 o'clock,level 3 o'clock, mode ts9, tone 3 o' clock
the sm57 1 inch from the dust cap, the md421 2 inch from the dust cap

second guitar:
rythm channel
pre gain :7 bass 6 , mid 4, high 7.5
resonance 7, presence 8
with ts9: drive 0, level 4 o'clock, mode ts9, tone : 1 o'clock
the sm57 mic on the dust cap
the md421mic 1 inch from the dust cap

any suggestions?
what you think about psa 1 tech21 preamp combined with 6505?
