this thread is made in purpose to increase everyones death metal vocals well i sing with brutral vocals in a band but i don't use any scepial effect or trick the hole poin is breathing from the diaphragm also a good advice is drinking warm liquid may aide in expanding your vocal cords, helping your voice get deeper.but the hole point is practise listen to amon amarth and practise every day also a help would be this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyN9azaXeNg

The art of screaming dvd's are pretty good. They've helped me out. Ive been able to hold my growls alot longer and don't tear up my voice anymore. At least give them a look
