I recently re-bought this album due to the Ozzfest edition. Awesome stuff and its giving Dimmu Borgir alot more press and making them available to a wider audience. I work at the retail store Target and we never carried them before and now with this Ozzfest edition we do carry them and they do sell. the Twisted Sister cover is awesome as well as "Satan My Master" by Bathory cover. I recently saw them on Ozzfest and they were awesome. Hopefully alot of the kiddies will wake up and get into some of this great true black metal.

I got it yesterday (my original Death Cult has a scratch and I cant listen to it anymore.. :-( ) ... anyways the 2 CD set is excellent.. both covers plus Devil's Path are good ... anyone see the video for Progenies of the Great Apocalypse? ... If you dont have any BM CD's Sixx.. Dimmu's style (Symphonic BM) would definetly be worth for you getting into because the Raw produced BM bands is a acquired taste...

Did you get the video loaded on the windows media player? For some reason it wouldn't play on mine? I have a few Black Metal discs, but in no way, am I an authority on the stuff. Like I mentioned before, with Death Metal, there are very few that catch my attention, but when they do, I'm into them for life. This is the same approach I have taken with Black Metal, there are some great bands out there in the genre, I just have to find out about them. ok.. have to type this fast before this site boots me off line again lol ... Sixx.. i watched the video on my friend's computer... i wouldnt attempt it on my computer because its ancient (6 yrs old this year) .. I am the same way you are when it comes to Black or Death Metal.. has to catch my ear... I dont buy it for the sake of it because everyone else is... what do you have in your BM and DM collection? I trust your taste in the genre's and will consider getting them after i hear a song or 2 from your recommendations.. BM albums i plan to get are from bands like Old Man's Child (very similar to Dimmu), Satyricon, Emperor, Immortal, Mayhem, old Bathory, Venom, 1349, Susperia etc. But if you like Dimmu you would definetly like Old Man's Child... two or 3 former members of Old Man's are/were in Dimmu so you can see the 2 band's sounds would be similar..
