Death metal! (Exhumed, Carcass, Ghoul...)

This is a band from Philadelphia called Coffin Dust. Mix/master from this past Saturday.



I'm feeling good about this but it's compressed a bit too heavily. I need to tame the low end a bit, bring the guitar and bass attack some... but you're welcome to disagree. What do you think?

Sounds good, but I think the guitars are a little under-gained?

Ah, probably shouldn't have assumed that you were a re-amper!

All real! (Snare and kick are real/sample blended.) Though we did reamp the guitars just so we could worry about tone after all the hard work was done. We used my GSP1101 into their 5150 because the amp distortion just wasn't cutting it. If I had my way, I'd reamp it again with something that has a bit less gain, a little more low mid content.
