Yesterday I was watching this bootleg DVD "Ultimate Revenge 2" which has Death among few thrash bands. It actually sounded quite good to me. Is there any specific records you'd recommend for thrash kid slowly starting to get into heavier stuff?

The Ultmate Revenge compilations weren't bootlegs, but they fucking rule.

I'd say start off with something like SCream Bloody Gore since its asically a death-thrash album anyway.

Yeah, he's probably right. Start with the first couple of albums, then check out the rest. I guarantee you'll like at least one of them.

Then again you COULD start off the other way around, since the later stuff is more melodic than heavy. I'd say start with SBG and Leprosy though.

Ok, so I ordered Symboilc from a seller on Amazon, and received today (FOUR DAYS early). But, its not the Limited Edition Digipak I ordered... I THINK its the original from '95. Its all scratched up and has a small crack on the front, and wasn't wrapped in plastic. When I opened it, the cd fell out, and it doesn't fit properly (like my copy of Chinese Democracy but thats besides the point ).

So, should I try and get a refund? Or should I just keep it?

EDIT : I just noticed it smells slightly smoke like.... This is NEW? Fuck you "GoHastings". FUCK YOU.
